Playtime

Today I went to a friends house. She just had a baby girl.  So cute!!! I got to see her and another friend who has a two month old, another cutie. Let's just say I got to do all the fun stuff and none of the yucky stuff. I got lots of cuddles, coos and smiles. Their mommies got lots of dirty diapers. Who says I'm not living right?  Here's to a day of love and laughter!!!

Wedding Plant

Here is a picture of the only surviving plant from our wedding. It is a wax begonia. Supposedly it has a one year life span. Ours however, has survived 5 years. Yes sports fans 5 years.  We have recently celebrated our 5 year anniversary and thought everyone would like to see the results of our union..... I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband and partner in life.

Happy 4th of July!!!

It's independence day and I have the honor to have family that has served our great nation. I appreciate the sacrifices they have made so that we can enjoy our freedoms.  Ice cream on a hot day, talking on the phone, and speaking our mind are a few that come to mind.  May you enjoy the fireworks tonight and thank our lucky stars there are men and women who gave their all so we can say "Happy 4th of July".  "Boom Boom Boom"
